Detailsback to topNote: Subscription details are assembled using information from the publisher's site. First, it's Ars Technica -- as in Arts (it's Latin) -- the Art of Technology. We believe that our site rox so hard that we can choose a crazy name like this, and people will still come back. And for more than 4 years, they have. Ars Technica serves up the best multi-OS, PC hardware, and tech coverage possible while remembering what we're all about: having fun, being productive, and being as informative and as accurate as possible. Ars Technica and the Ars OpenForum are free services, however we do offer value-added services for different levels of subscriptions. We're forging ahead into this largely unknown territory because we want to keep Ars Technica on the 'net, keep advertising content low, and we want to be able to provide the best service possible. Our main content is, and always will be, free. But with a Basic Subscription (which even includes a 4-week free trial period), or the more feature-rich Premier Subscription, you get more from Ars, and you help Ars in return. Ars Technica Subscriptions have been around for more than three years, and are a proven success!
