You play the role of not only the General Manager, but the coach as well. You are responsible for setting your starting lineup, choosing the offensive and defensive styles for your team, dealing with player fatigue and even setting your managerial tendencies such as when to press and when to intentionally foul.

Once your team is ready, you'll be placed in a league with 23 other teams - 2 conferences of 2 divisions with 6 teams per division. You, and the other owners in your league, will then be sent the league schedule information via email. You'll be managing a full 82 game season with both inter-division as well as inter-conference games. Every team plays two games per day (afternoon and overnight). Boxscores (with play by play), league standings and league leaders are automatically updated and are available immediately after games have been simulated.

At the end of the season, the top 6 teams from each conference  advance to the playoffs!  The further you advance, the better the prizes! Just make it to the playoffs and you get $0.75 off your next SimLeague team. Make it to the Finals and you get $3 off your next team and if you win the league championship you get a free full-season team plus our exclusive WhatIfSports.com t-shirt!
