Movielink offers users a one-stop resource for interactive multimedia information relating to current and upcoming motion picture releases, including theater, video, DVD and soundtrack releases.
Movielink is an online movie download service and a new distribution channel for the movie industry. The Movielink service offers U.S. broadband customers a broad selection of feature films including new releases, classics, foreign films and more. The Movielink service enables customers to rent movies for a limited time on a transactional (versus subscription) basis and legally download them to their computer. You can store this movie for up to 30 days. Once started, watch the movie as many times as you'd like within 24 hours. Can be viewed in either Real Player or Windows Media Player.

- store movies for up to 30 days and enjoy unlimited viewing for any 24-hour period (starts when you click Play).

- 30-90 minutes (necessary for laptop travelers).
- However, connected users can play movies within about 2-10 minutes of starting to download.
- Rental period/Viewing period
- You have a rental period of up to 30 days to start and finish your 24-hour viewing period.
- Enjoy unlimited viewing during your 24-hour viewing period, which starts when you click Play.
- You can fast-forward, rewind, pause and stop your movie.
- After it expires, the movie automatically deletes itself.
- Additional viewing periods
- Some movies let you buy an additional 24-hour viewing period without having to download again. (These movies are indicated by the clock symbol on the Movie Details page.)
- After your first viewing period expires, look in the Movie Queue of the Movielink Manager for instructions.
- Movielink Manager™ (free utility)
- Movielink Manager is a free utility that manages your downloads and uses your Windows Media Player or RealOne Player to play movies. It's also where you can buy additional viewing periods.
- You'll automatically get Movielink Manager when you download your first movie.
- Burning DVDs and Peer-to-peer file sharing
- Our terms of use currently do not permit burning or other copying of the movies.
- However, Movielink is currently exploring additional features that will enhance our service.

Awful product, horrible service

I have attempted to use MovieLink to view 4 different movies. Every movie that I attempted to view had problems with video quality. The file was corrupted and even though the audio would continue without a glitch, the video would frequently pause and
