The Mommy & Me Association is the first national membership organization dedicated to providing parent/child playgroup leaders and participants with resources, recognition and support. By sharing information and ideas with each other, we believe that we will motivate and inspire excellence in parent/child playgroups and encourage parents to make the most of the time they spend with their children.  Our primary goals are to:

• Create a community where members can network and share information, both online and in person
• Educate leaders on how to start and conduct classes and groups
• Provide on-going education
• Provide needed products and services
• Provide recognition for members 

The Mommy & Me Association is for playgroup leaders, instructors of parent/child classes, owners of parent/child businesses, people interested in starting playgroups, community organizations advocating child welfare, students studying child development and parents.

Mommy & Me groups started up as a grass-roots support system for new moms. Over the past 30 years, millions of moms have attended playgroups and parent/child classes. These groups have given moms and their kids an opportunity to spend special one-on-one time together, as well as, an opportunity for moms to socialize, sharing the joys and trials of parenting.

Mommy & Me, Inc. was founded by Dr. Cindy Bunin Nurik, a renowned child development specialist, family therapist, mom and pioneer in the parent-child movement. In 1979, she opened the Parent-Child enrichment Center in Florida, where she taught Mommy & Me classes. Over the years, Dr. Cindy has worked closely with thousands of children and families.
