PC Magazine made the decision to convert the free utilities to a subscription-based service earlier this year in order for PC Magazine and PCMag.com to continue to provide the quality and caliber of utilities we've been building for you over the past 20 years. This small fee will not only allow us to continue to produce updates to some of your favorite PC Magazine utilities, but to grow our library with new ones, as well.

You can continue to use the utilities you downloaded prior to March 13, 2003. However, you will have to subscribe to our monthly or annual utility service to download any updates or bug fixes you download.

We will have a separate on-line forum accessible only by our registered utility subscribers. Our first line of support will be our site-manager, but our utility authors will be available to discuss problems and fix bugs as well.

The Utility Library requires cookies to be enabled on your computer. If you are having problems with authentication or downloading, please make sure your browser is configured to accept cookies.

We have a limited group of users who have promised to beta test each of our utilities. They get access to our special beta forum, and a free subscription to our utilities, as long as they actively help us test.
