Not as good as the ads say Buyer Beware!! Match.com is touted as the best online service. Well, not by my experience. I joined Match.com in response to online recommendations and the detailed descriptions they provide of potential matches. A few things have put me off, primarily having to do with customer service and billing. 1. Like many companies, once they have your credit card, they continue to bill you for service, even if you only sign up for one month, as I did. READ THE FINE PRINT. 2. Although I signed up and paid my money, I did not gain access to the site (kept asking me to pay) until 10 days after I joined. I contacted the internet customer service about this and they said they could do nothing unless I called. However, after that I could gain access. 3. when I did call about being charged for 10 days of service I didn't receive, they said there was nothing they could do about it as they don't keep records. 4. after one month of matches, I began to receive repeats matches from them. In reviewing all of my potential matches, I noticed that approximately twenty new matches had joined. Where are the multitudes they talk of?
